Wisconsin Logistics

As with any major construction project, each will face its own set of unique challenges and requirements that need to be overcome for it to be a success. This was no different for the Logistics Facility in Little Chute, Wisconsin. Logistic Facilities are typically subject to high traffic environments with heavy loads, which can take its toll on concrete ltab systems and damage joints leading to expensive maintenance costs for the owners.

From the beginning two key challenges were identified. The first being a solution that would reduce the amount of floor contraction joints in the cross dock defined traffic pattern area. Secondly, a solution that could cope with the very heavy loads that usually break down joint shoulders which leads too significant ongoing maintenance.
